About Qamar 14

 Qamar14 is the name for a group of teachers and performers of Arabic Dance based in Yorkshire. Together we organise workshops, performances, and haflas (dance parties), as well as shows, talks, and all sorts of social events.

• Our aim is to promote the enjoyment and understanding of music and dance and to inspire performers, teachers, students and enthusiasts alike with new insights and possibilities.

• We have the ability and experience to tackle large-scale events, and yet are flexible enough to put on smaller and more unusual activities, often at short notice.

• We hope to bring the best and most exciting Middle Eastern and North African dancers, teachers, musicians, and performers to Yorkshire to share their skills, knowledge, and experiences. And we hope to bring you all sorts of fascinating dance and music activities
   – in short, as much fun as you can have with coins on!
