A wonderful production, very professional, varied and fun, dancers bizarre brought a brilliant note of hilarity, Ozgen was dynamic and dramatic. Suzan and Leyla were a wonderful contribution to a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I think the standing ovations and expressions of gratitude said it all.
Congratulations to all who danced and organised this great event.

Hi Qamar14 Ladies!!
Just want to say a HUGE thankyou to you all for organising such great events. Apart from the amazing guest teachers (Nesrin, Artemis and others I've not met) the atmosphere -at the shows and in the workshops -is always amazing and you go above and beyond with helping to sort out travel arrangements and make life as easy as possible for those of us travelling from afar (well, London) to attend.
I'd absolutely recommend your events to anyone, and I am looking forward to joining you again sometime soon!!

Best wishes, Claire xxx

Dear lovely qamar 14 girls,
thank you so much for such a joyous time with Artemis and such a lovely show. it was a proper treat to see so many lovely dances and dancers. bev, you are a total trouper and even the rubbish cd player didn't detract a bit from your beautiful performance. and jo, your hand movements were so gorgeous. my dear mama said you were magnificent and she was right. did you see her dancing at the end? she had the best time.I think Artemis is exceptional, she is a joy: so big-hearted and full of insight and knowledge, and i got so much out of my hour with her - i count myself very lucky to have learned from her.

I was fortunate to be at 7 Arts at Chapel Allerton last Saturday night to see Suzan Ayvaz perform in Oryantal Nights, she was mesmerising and such an inspiration. As were all the dancers who took part, especially Dancers Bizarre who were original, entertaining and sometimes unpredictable with their routines. A great show and well worth braving the chilly dark night for.

Suzan Ayvaz Workshops & Show - Another triumph!
Thanks again for all your hard work, girls; it paid off in spades! Suzan is such a warm & inspirational teacher - I got so much from her Oryantal workshop, & the show was a wonderful blend of styles.
Dancers Bizarre always love taking part & are so grateful that you continue to bring us the opportunity to meet & learn from such marvellous performers.
We must have Suzan back soon!
Huge love all round, & when's the next one???

Well this was one of the most difficult events yet to organise, because everything just wanted to go wrong from start to finish!!
It turned out to be amazing, fantastic workshops and an extravaganza of a show.
What an amazing teacher Nesrin is, and her getting up at our show to do a little dancing was so special I feel truly blessed.
Ozgen was wooooooweeee as always and such a nice man.
Suzan just has the 'oh la la' factor ( I want to dance like her )
Leyla the gypsy girl was fun and cute.
Dancers Bizarre are wonderfully, crazy and funny women.
Ohhh I could go on and on and on, every one was just amazing.
You all pulled out the stops for this show.
So thank you all you wonderful people who came to watch and support us, I can not begin to express how appreciative I am.

Just wanted to say thank you for organishing the workshops with Nesrin Topkapi. She is a fun, cheeky, wonderful teacher and I felt that through her thoroughly relaxed style of teaching I learned a lot.. am spending a lot of time practising that shoulder shrug.. so wonderfully relaxed but full of meaning!

HI THERE

JUST A QUICK HELLO AND ALSO TO FEED BACK FROM AN AUDIENCE POINT OF VIEW REGARDING THE SHOW ON SATURDAY.
TO BE ABSOLUTELY HONEST BEV I PERSONALLY ENJOYED IT MORE THAN THE _____________ A FEW MONTHS AGO.
EACH DANCE ON SATURDAY WAS UNIQUE TO THAT GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL AND IT REFLECTED THEIR PERSONA AND ENERGY. ALL THE DANCES WERE PASSIONATE,EXPRESSED WITH LOVE AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL ENJOYMENT WAS OOZING OUT OF ALL THE PERFORMERS. IT WAS FULL OFF FUN,LAUGHTER AND COMPASSION.
THE ONLY THING I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH WAS THAT I HAD TO UNFORTUNATELY LEAVE BEFORE THE SHOW FINISHED AS MY LAST TRAIN WAS 2240 HRS-
WELL DONE TO YOU ALL

TAKE CARE

Hi Bev

Missed you at the end of the show but THANK YOU again for another wonderful show. Anyone who was not there, missed a treat. Ozgen as always was fab and I really enjoyed Leila who I have not seen dance before. And of course you and all the other performers were great as well.

Thanks again to you and your team for giving us the opportunity to see such great dancing.

See you soon - at JoY maybe? if not, it will be at the Bondok show!

love and hugs

Jo xxx

I just keep grinning! Wasn't everything just wonderful this weekend! So sorry for anyone who missed out thanks to all the road closures in Leeds. Nesrin Topkapi - wow!
I know "can't you feel the love in the room" is an awful cliché - but couldn't you just!

Thanks a million times to you, helen, jan and jo for such a glorious
evening, it really was fabulous. the princess is wonderful and all the
other performers did her, and themselves, proud - it was a fantastic
night.
big thanks to dear jo for introducing us as 'the black sheep' of her
dance family - we loved that, and think she is astonishingly quick-
witted to have come up with something so very apt and funny.
Thanks again

Hi, it was a wonderful show on Thursday, a great variety of dances & music, a charming compe´re and of course the amazing Princess Farhana. My non-belly dancer guests also did like it very much. When can we do it again?

Princess Farhana. Not enough space on this page to write all the positive comments I have had about this lady. Such a wonderful character, fun and amazing teacher and performs with true star quality.
I now wear false eye lashes and love them, don't know why I never did before. PF bought me some as a present when we where shopping in Leeds and stuck them on me before show, Now every time I dance they are going on my lids, think they might get longer every time and maybe a little more flamboyant, please tell me girls if I start to over do it.
Ohhhh cant wait until her next visit.

well just about recovered from the two amazing events we have had only 10 days between them.
I am exhausted but so pleased with the success of both events.
Always say to the girls, a few days before each event, "I am so stressed am never b.......y doing this again, if I open my mouth with another one one of my great ideas, shoot me please". But, the second it is over and we know its been a good time had by all, I say, heeey, great when is the next one, can't wait and ohhh just had another good idea for next year. No one has shot me yet.

Hi, me again. What a fantastic day (Sat 3rd July) when we had workshops with Anne White. I had a great time and really enjoyed the queenliness session. Followed by the wonderful evening Hafla at Habibs, Bradford. Fabulous entertainment and wonderful food. Not only did we get to see Anne perform and quite a cheeky/suggestion dancer she is, we had Bev and all the other wonderful support acts too. Brilliant girls - keep up the good work. x Julie

Hiya,
keep checking your site and love the new outlook (personal profiles - just perfect, just as real as you all are.)
Don't know what it is about this "bellydance" thing, but I love it. It makes me feel good about myself and I know if people came to your social evenings and attended classes they would/might feel the same. Keep up all the good work.
